Step 3: The Hearing Test Process

Once you're ready, we proceed with a series of tests using the Kuduwave:

1. Otoscopy (Ear Examination)

Before testing your hearing, we check your ears for any wax build-up, infections, or abnormalities that might impact your results. The difference here is that you get to see what the inside of your ear looks like!

2. Tympanometry & Middle Ear Analysis

The ProTMP feature of our system allows us to measure the movement of your eardrum and detect any potential middle ear issues, such as fluid buildup or eustachian tube dysfunction.

3. Pure Tone Audiometry

Using the Kuduwave headset, we measure your hearing sensitivity across different frequencies. You'll simply press a button whenever you hear a tone. This helps determine the softest sounds you can detect at various pitches.

4. Speech Audiometry

We assess how well you understand speech at different volumes, giving us insight into how hearing loss may be affecting your daily conversations.

Step 4: Reviewing Your Results & Next Steps

Once testing is complete, we go over your results in detail. We explain your audiogram (hearing chart) in a way that’s easy to understand and discuss any recommendations based on your hearing needs. If hearing aids, earwax removal, or further medical consultation are required, we guide you through your options.
